YOUTH SERVICE FOR CHILDREN IN GRADES K-2
Located at Temple Sinai. Drop off at 8:15-8:30 a.m. Pick up at 11-11:15 a.m. (after service ends)
Temple Sinai is pleased to offer youth services in parallel to the first morning service on Rosh Hashanah (first day only), Monday, September 10th, and on Yom Kippur, Wednesday, September 19th. All children must be pre-registered by August 24th to participate. There is no charge for Temple Sinai members to participate, however, your sponsorship to help offset staffing and programming costs is deeply appreciated. Non-member families may participate in our youth programming for a fee of $18 per child. It is the same cost whether you choose to send your child to one or both services.
Grade K-2 youth services and holiday-related activities will take place in the school wing of Temple Sinai. Children will be assigned to a group to participate in various fun arts and crafts activities for half the time, and a youth oriented service for the other half. Apples and honey will be offered during Rosh Hashanah, and the children will be led into the sanctuary at the appropriate time to hear the blowing of the shofar.
Participation in youth programming is optional. Youth are always welcome to the main service if preferred. If your child is ill or truly does not wish to attend, please do not send them.
